German Language Courses
The following three courses are designed to be completed between the Spring semester
at Virginia Tech and the Winter semester at Technische Universität Darmstadt.
- GER 2984 Elementary German (6 credits) Location: Blacksburg
Fundamentals of the German language with emphasis on grammar, reading composition,
and conversation. For students with no prior knowledge of the language.

- GER 2984 Intermediate German (6 credits) Location: Blacksburg
Review of grammar with increasing emphasis on reading, writing, and oral communication.
SUMMER II 2007: CRN ?????, MTuWThF 9:30-12:15
- Grammar, Composition & Conversation (6 credits) Location: Darmstadt
Progressive and comprehensive review of German syntax and morphology. Practice in written
and oral expression in German on a variety of topics in German culture.
