Dual Master of Science Programs
These programs allow students to pursue one year of studies and/or research at each university,
whereupon successful completion, they receive a Master of Science degree from both the Technische
Universität Darmstadt and from Virginia Tech.

For German citizens going to Virginia Tech
AMOUNT: €975 [approximately US$1,350] per month
DEADLINE: July 15, 2007 for the 2008-2009 academic year (apply directly to DAAD)
- DAAD: Graduate Scholarship for Study and/or Research in Germany
For US citizens going to the Technische Universität Darmstadt
AMOUNT: €715 [approximately US$990] per month
+ additional funds towards travel and health insurance
DEADLINE: November 15, 2007 for the 2008-2009 academic year (apply directly to DAAD)
- Fulbright: Study and Research at a US University
For German citizens going to Virginia Tech
AMOUNT: US$30,400 for tuition, fees, and living expenses
+ additional funds towards travel and health insurance
DEADLINE: Approximately June 20, 2007 for the 2008-2009 academic year
- Fulbright: Study and Research at a German University
For US citizens going to the Technische Universität Darmstadt
AMOUNT: €715 [approximately US$990] per month
+ €250 per semester general allowance
+ €260 per month spousal allowance (if applicable)
+ additional funds towards travel and health insurance

For Virginia Tech BS graduates going to the Technische Universität Darmstadt
AMOUNT: US$2,000 (if awarded DAAD or Fulbright scholarship);
US$1,000 (if applied for DAAD or Fulbright scholarship); $500 otherwise
